Gosh, he LOOKS crazy. I hope he gets the death penalty. That poor family. I am happy that Shasta was found safe, but that poor little girls life will NEVER be the same. I read something else stating that Duncan molested and killed another child prior to this. And he was out of jail why? People like this are a waste of space. He should have been taken care of the first offense. He was a high profile dangerous sex offender who shouldn’t have been let go.

Sentence him to life in prison; released inside the general population of a maximum security mens prison, such as Walla Walla State Pen, or Stillwater Minnesota Maximum Security State Pen, and let the hard-core cons introduce him to hell on earth. The prison guards and staff will turn their heads, and let the cons release their extra unproductive energy on Joseph Duncan, instead of them. Lethal injection would be too peaceful.

I don’t know why our justice system has become so lethargic on people like this. First off, he shouldn’t be able to defend himself, second, why even a trial. Shoot him in the frickin’ head. Sick bastard.

I agree with everyone. When are we going to start holding the judicial system accountable for releasing criminals BACK into our society, only to kill again?? This asshole has done this before. It’s just a shame that Dylan was murdered by this scumbag, it shouldn’t of happened.

If I were to judge this freak of nature I would release him to the closest family members of the victims. If I were to get him I would torture the bastard until the day I died. Hopefully a minimum of a good 35 yrs. Daily torture. Keeping him barely alive to enjoy another day of hell on earth.

This is just about the most heinous crime I’ve ever read about and in a way I wish I never even read it. I’m just haunted by the details and I feel like crying every time I think of what these kids go through. If I could get my hands on this guy, I’d make sure he begged me to kill him. No punishment can ever be enough for this piece of human garbage.

He is the perfect specimen for experimental science including chemical testing and surgery. Why give him a peaceful death when knowing that while his sister sleeps at night he would be enduring ongoing pain only wishing for death. Drag it out for a couple seasons.

I agree with all the posts 100%. I was molested in my childhood by a man whom I never got to return to scream at him in later life (I’m 41 now) for what he did to me. He then though I found out died a pretty painful cancerous death – so at least there is some solace there.
I have to believe that whatever happens to this man it will be specific to him to what his worst nightmare would be and thensome. I need to believe and have seen proof that’s how life goes – that people pay and pay and pay (not sometimes obvious at the time but it’s ongoing) just because they are still living – because in their minds they hate themselves deep down more than anyone else and wish themselves dead for the hideous people they are. I think they start out with the hate and commit from there.
I realize others may not agree with what I just said. This is my own opinion derived from years of dealing with what happened and of the people involved as I’ve had a lot go on in my life. At times I wanted to shoot them all in the head and/or cut their heads off (sorry for the bluntness there). But, had to realize that’s not realistic and to know how some people in my life who did me wrong left this world – It taught me to believe that what goes around really does infact come around even if I didn’t have a hand in making it happen.

If this is ever read by Joseph Duncan…you pray and beg for death in your sleep but you will have to kill yourself before they give you death by lethal injection. I have not slept in almost 4 years because of you and then I realized, why? I am not afraid of you or your kind, I will be the only one in the room when you do die. You will suffer a long and painful death that will go on for years before I let you die. You took away some of the most beautiful people in this world (I didn’t even know them and I know), you torchered the soul of angel and crusified an innocent. I can’t wait to get my diploma (which Shasta is the reason I am going to a Criminal Justice school to take sick twisted pieces of shit like you down). This man is truly the worst of the worst. He held a gun on the Mother, boyfriend, and eldest boy, and then bound them and killed them all with a hammer. He chose the most painful brutal way to kill these poor people. Then he kidnapped and raped both children and murdered that little boy. And he supposedly bragged to them about killing their family. It makes you realize that there is evil among us. Good people are wiped from the face of the earth in the most painful and horrifying way known to man. I agree that since he has already been sentenced and had confessed that he should be torn apart by dogs. Unfortunately, no sadistic death will ever equal the pain he has inflicted. There is no payback. Be careful out there and be good to your fellow man. Strive to be the best you can be so that we can expose these evil men before they steal and murder our children.
