    This man is vile and disgusting, but my question is, why are the authorities not prosecuting the mother? There is no conceivable way this woman did not know that her child suffered such an atrocity. She hid it and that’s a fact. Be it because she condoned it or because she was scared, it is unexcusable and she should be made accountable.

    How do you know for a fact that the mother hid this abuse? Please tell. Because there not not always signs of abuse. So, you must be a member of the family or a friend to know this for a fact. Correct?

    How can you even say such a thing? Children hide feelings just as well as adults, if not better. You should be absolutely ashamed of yourself for blaming the mother!

    We should all remember that Mr. Stiles is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. I personally find it off putting that the media refuses to call him Mr. Stiles but instead refers to him simply by his last name. Under our justice system Mr. Stiles is only the accused and he is presumed INNOCENT. Mr. Stiles deserves the same respect as any other innocent person and I believe both CNN and FOX owe both Mr. Stiles and their viewers an apology.

    While that is basically true, it is the norm and has been for a long time. And I sure hope you do not believe that he is innocent. There is a videotape of him doing this. And other evidence points directly at him. Do you really think he will give the victim and her family a real apology?

    By the way, the using of a person’s last name only is not limited to the accused. It happens with prosecutors, attorneys, judges, policiticians, actors, etc. Don’t look too deep into this.

    I agree with WM. and this is for Melissa…The mother must have known about the abuse. How could she not…in the timebefore/during and after the abuse did she not ever give her 3 year old daughter a bath??!! Help her when she went to the toilet?? The girl was RAPED, so their must have been bruises, scars…blood. Comeon people…the mother is just as guilty and needs to be prosecuted aswell!!!

    Are you just looking for just anyone to blame for this? Maybe Chester cleaned her up and was careful not to leave any bruises. I’m not going to argue about this, but I think you are VERY wrong in saying the mother should be prosecuted. HE is the one who raped that little girl! HE is the one who did something wrong. Not the mother.

    I’m not looking to put balme on just anyone…only the RAPIST, but you can’t ignore the mother either.
    Regardless wether he cleaned her up or was careful(sick)…she’s a 3 year old girl!! Also, according to the detectives, the little girls lack of reaction and empty eyes indicated to them that this was not the first time….Chester deserves to have the book thrown at him and then some…but the mother needs to be looked into aswell!!!

    YESSSSSSSS!!! HE WAS CAUGHT!!!! A police officer pulled him over for a traffic violation…Chester presented a fake ID, but the arresting officer recognized Stiles and proceeded to question him further and ultimately admitted he was indeed Chester Arthur Stiles. The story broke during the second encore of the Larry King Live show(feat.Donald Trump).
