I am Chris’s Mom . . . and I wanted to thank everyone for their continued support and prayers . . .
Chris or his blazer have never been found, and other than a few tips early in his disappearance we have nothing to go on.
Chris is 18 and a legal adult, but there are many circumstances in his disappearance that don’t make sense . . . he left without any money or ID, he had only been driving a few weeks and is inexperienced in the world, and he suffers for ADD and attention disorder when under stress. If Chris is still alive we believe he is being assisted or held by a third party . . .
We ask for your help in passing on his name and image through emails and flyers, and welcome any tips to help us locate him . . . we just want to know that he is alive and well. If you have any information please contact local authorities or the Findchris.org website . . . http://findchris.org/
Anam Cara (Soul Friend), Bonnie
PS. Thank you Eric, I hope you are doing well . . .
Bonnie,
Hello, I don’t know if things have been resolved or not but I wanted to send my Love and light out to all of you. I live in philadelphia and share the same name.
If DK has such suspicion about “The Manager” and bodies of water then why do you not come forward and go to the police or the investigation team. You are being a coward if you do not step forward. This makes me angry that it is only posted as a blog message. Sorry
I know someone very similar to Christopher that decided to up & leave home, to live downtown at 18. The major differences were: He brought his possessions with him, money, & was not involved in a relationship. I don’t think it makes sense that he seemed to be at the least content, at best very happy, and up & disappear. I am highly suspicious of his co-workers, I think at least one of them is not mentioning something…..
My initial reaction before even reading the case was Burning Man, or the Rainbow Gathering – When I read that he was interested in that it seemed like an obvious lead (assuming no foul play).
I pray for your son.
ps. hippies are a tight knit group that offten travel the country together, there is a huge network of them. If your not a hippie you would never now how huge there network is. If you think your son is alive and out being a free spirit I can’t imagine you wouldn’t get a response from the hippie culture. Your son is nice looking person that people would remember seeing. This sounds like a weird post but it is as true as can be.
I was watching a video of my own children’s vacation one summer and Patrick was with us, which of course, made me think of Christopher. I decided to check online and see if there was any news. It saddens my heart that there are no leads.
Reading the other posts, it occurred to me that the Burning Man idea is really good. I have some friends in LA that have been going for years and there is this whole culture around it. I will send info to them about Christopher – it could get around the whole network and maybe someone as new info.
Another thought I had is that since the car hasn’t been seen and it’s been a year, has anyone checked to see if the registration has been renewed? Salvage yards put the VIN number of a car into a system when they scrap a car, so if Christopher isn’t with the car anymore (he could have sold it or if there was foul play and someone tried to get rid of it), there could be a record out there.
Stay strong and I’ll keep praying – esp when I go to Scotland in May – I won’t be able to be in Scotland without thinking of your family.
To the Coan Family (Shannon, Dave and kids) and to Bonnie,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I just came across an online article confirming that Chris’ remains were found yesterday in Enoch. Please know that my thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Please remember when leaving a comment on my blog that all comments are subject to the blog owners discretion. I do believe in freedom of speech, however, that right is not absolute. Here are the rules:
1 - I will not tolerate hate filled speech or derogatory remarks about a victim. I will remove comments that go against this. I will not remove comments just because they do not match my beliefs, in fact, I welcome them! However, that being said, I will remove those that I find offensive, argumentative just for the sake of starting an argument that does not add to the post, hate-filled speech, etc.
2 - Please remember to not use all CAPS or capitalize the beginning letter of every single word or every other word, or use IM/text abbreviations (except like LOL). Please have respect for other readers and type words out. Not everyone is into that and it is inappropriate here.
3 - Your comments must be all in English.
4 - I will also not allow Anonymous comments.
5 - ALL COMMENTS LEFT BY COMMENTORS ARE THEIR OWN AND THEIR OPINIONS. THEY DO NOT CONSTITUTE FACTS. NOR IS THE BLOG OWNER RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYONE'S OPINIONS OR FEELINGS. STATEMENTS MADE AS COMMENTS ARE OPINIONS, GIVEN FREELY BY THE COMMENTORS.
If you have a question or problem with this, please feel free to email me (there is a link to my email above).

Please have them look into the manager and the bodies of water near where he last was seen! I think there will be good reason!
