OK, I realize that this may possibly be the riskiest post I have made, but I will be watching it carefully! Have you ever known a famous criminal? Maybe a murderer? Maybe they were not so famous. Or maybe a family member knew someone. Make a comment and tell us about it. HOWEVER! Yes, there are restrictions (and this is my blog and I can and will do that).
1. There will be absolutely NO glorifying of ANY criminal. Period. NONE. Nor can you justify that person’s actions. I do know that some of these criminals, murderers, etc. do have people who love them, worked with them, etc. It is ok to tell maybe a story, but tread lightly. No disrespecting the victims.
2. There will be no flaming anyone else, calling names, rudeness, etc. You may not agree with someone’s opinion, but there is no reason to be rude. I will not tolerate it.
3. As usual, any comment I deem inappropriate, it will be removed. Also, if you read something that appears to be inappropriate, rude, or offensive, please email me off of my blog (my email address is on the right-hand side of my blog) and I will check it out.
Well, I guess I can start, as I have known or met a few:

Ernest Rocco “Rocky” Infelise: Rocky Infelise I was born in Chicago and lived there until around 9 I believe.
Americo “Pete” DePietto: another member of the Chicago Outfit, but to me, he was Uncle Pete.

Barbara Stager: She is in prison for killing one of her husbands. She was on death row at one time. When I was like 11 or so, she did car auctions with my dad and one of her boyfriends. I used to go with my dad to these auctions (thinking I was so important to get to go!).

Baby Face Nelson: My grandfather drove him in a cab one night when he was supposed to be “hit”, however, my grandfather was in the way, so it did not happen.

Sam Gianancana, Mad Sam DeStefano and Frank “Lefty” Rosenthal: May or may not be true, family story, supposedly my grandfather knew them or met them, did some business with them. I have no way to find out the truth of this.

John Wayne Gacy: lived only about a block away from him in Des Plaines while in elementary school (never actually met him that I know of)
Trivia: My grandfather was the foreman for the crew that built the wall for the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. They had no idea what it was for, they were just paid to build a wall.
