Etan Patz

I hope that this is true. And interesting that it happens now, when tomorrow, May 25, is the 33rd anniversary of his disappearance and National Missing Children’s Day. This may help his parents deal with what has happened, although please don’t misunderstand. It will not provide closure as so many believe and will talk about. There is no such thing as closure for a murder victim’s loved ones and family.

Flint Man Suspected of Serial Stabbings Found Guilty of Murder

Elias Abuelazam, 35, was found guilty of first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Arnold Minor, 49, on August 2, 2010. Abuelazam was also suspected in a stabbing death in May 2010, as well as 13 other stabbings, four of which resulted in death.

Abuelazam was suspected of attacks in three states.

Survivors who testified against Abuelazam shared a similar story of being asked for directions or help with his vehicle before being attacked.

Defense attorneys said that Abuelazam was “insane” at the time of the attacks and suffered from paranoid schizophrenia.

Sentencing has not yet occurred.
